Thirty five years and growing
VANTAGE LAND SEA SKY LTD represents the journey of a passion for the ocean and sailing. Garth, South African born; - working in the Caribbean had started to build his yachting empire since 1984 promoting a revolutionary currency hedge investment programme linked to yacht ownership and charter.
Today Vantage represents a company comprising yachting industry specialists, investment bankers and global partners that have positioned the company to become a disruptor and industry leader. We pride ourselves on our knowledge but remain humble and committed to providing our clients with a superlative service because, our customers are the lifeblood of our business.
Our ambition is to be a life-time partner to our Customers by combining simplicity and innovation with empathy and care along the entire customer journey, at all touchpoints and channels.

Garth founded Marine Syndicate Management Systems (Pty) Ltd and starts building 57’ Luxury Catamarans that are placed in the Caribbean as syndicated investment vessels earning investors superlative returns via charter activity |

Garth founded Alpha Abacus Maritime Holdings (Pty) Ltd and converts his syndicated yacht ownership programme to a yacht currency hedge investment programme |

Black Empowerment introduced to Global Yachting Industry 2001

Panama Dual Entity 1996-2005

Garth founded Alpha Abacus Offshore Investments Ltd, a Dual Entity in Panama that owns, charters and manages a fleet of 142 yachts |
Foundation for Global Investments 1996-2005

Garth founded the Alpha Abacus Foundation promoting global investment into maritime assets including IMO1, 3 & 5 stainless steel tank containers as well as yachts |
Cape Cairo Alliance (Pty) Ltd 2013-2019

Garth founded Cape Cairo Alliance (Pty) Ltd and opens office in Cape Town, Cairo and Milan. This special purpose vehicle was used to promote Garth’s yachting interests and in particular, his vision to disrupt the highly fragmented Superyacht charter industry |
